From Shenandoah Valley to Estes Park, Colorado and north to Jasper, Canada, the forest provided an abundance of photogenic wildlife.

Although I would like you to believe that the photo of the large doe dear (mother) and the fawn (child) licking each other was an example of my awesome professionalism, it was however, actually just dumb lick.  Sometimes being lucky is good enough.

Most of the photographs were taken between 10-50 feet, except for the bear.  The bear had just come out of hibernation and was very hungry.  I didn’t want to be his desert, so the bear was approximately 50-75 yards away and on a hill side.
